My name is Liam, I'm a 2-year-old superhero.
On August 24th 2018, I have been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic neuroblastoma, with bone marrow involvement. It's a pediatric cancer of the sympathetic nervous system characterized by an abdominal tumor, affecting 1 child over 100,000 each year. Following the diagnosis, I started my chemotherapy treatment and soon will continue with a long and heavy treatment that includes surgery, radiotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and to finish, an immunotherapy. The last phase of the treatment is an anti-GD2 immunotherapy. It's the most advanced treatment to deal with neuroblastoma, the one that can increase survivability chances. Unfortunately, it's not available for me in my country. In order to receive it, I have to go to the United States with Mom and Dad. The treatment is extremely expensive and will last within 3 to 6 months.
In a case of this kind, the treatments and additional costs are extremely expensive. We are asking for your help so Liam can receive his treatment and overcome his battle. The money raised will be used to pay for Liam's treatment abroad. The funds will also be used to cover all of the associated costs : travel expenses to the United States, living expenses to be able to stay by his side, transportation costs, parking fees, food expenses, the regular roundtrips to the hospital and to buy a few toys and daily distractions to help him overcome it while at the hospital.
Thank you SO MUCH for your help.
